At first, this one was a challenge because almost all of the painting consists of shades of green. I made a few false starts before slowing down and concentrating on the value and temperature of the colors. In addition to wanting to create a sense of depth out of a largely monochromatic subject my goal was to depict the light at a particular time of day. In the end, I was happy with the way it turned out.
